On knitting and dinosaurs

AJ and I have a particular and inimitable way of talking to each other. Or maybe it’s just that when I talk to her, I pick up some of her more entertaining verbal tics.

AJ: “What would the life form do in a tranquilized body?”
“Well, it might take up knitting – nothing more violent than that.”

Me: it’s true man
Me: all this stabbing
AJ: poor whatever plant those yarns originally came from
Me: ….sheep
AJ: oh all yarn is sheep?
AJ: it’s not cloth fiber?
Me: yeah it’s either sheeps or acrylic.
Me: some cotton. not much
AJ: ohh
AJ: where do you get acrylic from
AJ: goats?
Me: plastic
Me: so, oil
AJ: oh
Me: by extension: dinosaurs
AJ: so you are stabbing dinosaurs.
Me: want me to make you a dinosaur hat?
AJ: yyyyyyyyyy
