Apples and oranges

My dad has a blog, and he wrote a post about his recent purchase of a new Dell desktop. With Vista.  He’s had a significant number of problems with it, more than I would have expected.  I assumed that Dell would at least be shipping computers that are able to function with Vista on them at this point.  Evidently not.

I gave him my old iBook to get used to using a Mac in case he wanted to switch for his next desktop, but their current wireless router refuses to acknowledge any Apple AirPort cards and so there’s not much point to running around with a laptop at their house.
