And they say we won’t be needed in the future.…

It’s requiring a huge act of willpower for me to not watch the new Doctor Who until after dark. I could be out riding my bike or, um, whatever.
BUT.…BUT.…IT’S SET IN A LIBRARY. A LIBRARY!!!! The biggest library in the universe!

Holy cow I’m white and nerdy

I really have the weirdest gym playlist. Someone made fun of me for having Belle and Sebastian on an older version, but it’s become even weirder since then.
I have a few hundred tracks that rotate, and then it pulls the 30 least recently played tracks for that day’s playlist. Here’s what comes

Mmm chalk

A while ago, Kelly told me about calcium-magnesium powder as a sleep aid. It acts quickly and is a very mild muscle relaxer. It also has actual nutritional value, even if it doesn’t work as the ideal sleep aid. I hit a sale and bought some, which tastes more or less like

I’m awake with a stomach bug, watching TV on my computer. I had forgotten how sometimes an hour of TV can make you feel like you’ve had a roundhouse kick to the stomach. Emotionally, that is–my stomach sort of feels like that anyway tonight.
People are all about stories. Our memories aren’t computer

Test ride

The “new” bike, Isidore*, and I went out for a test run tonight. I rode to within sight of work (both of them), then realized that I had to ride back the entire distance I had come, so I turned around.
Isidore is just a bit too tall for me, so getting on,
