A pair of titles at Wal-Mart that caught my eye.
The line to get into Sephora in Colonie the night before it opened. This was ridiculous. I stopped in to check it out, and I was kicked out of the line. You had to have an advance invitation to be in this line, and the people in it were waiting for at least an hour just to get in the store. I tried to sneak in the line, and they kicked me out.
This made me sad. I used to like watching the deer when my dad fed the ones in our backyard. When they’re really hungry, they get into the corn he puts out for the squirrels and other critters. Last winter, he had a chipmunk buddy who suddenly disappeared around the time that my hamster Cupcake died.
My daughter read “90 Minutes in Heaven.” We saw a program where the author talked about it. I believe it was a NYT Best Seller? My daughter said the book is excellent, and others say his story is true. The guy was pronounced dead after a terrible car accident… amazing!
