School update
The good news: I got a slot in 608.
The bad news: Now I have to take statistics. (It’s a program requirement.)

Other than preservation (which is a requirement, but kind of interesting) this seems to be my semester of clearing icky program requirements.

Here is a suggestion (not unsolicited advice); take it FWIW.
My experience in a similar situation taught me that underlying thought processes (positive or negative) can influence the outcome of an endeavour. Be sure to have your mind right. Stochastic processes can be a Bear, if you perceive it as such. Not a sermon, just a thought.
At any rate, good luck; you will probably need it.
